So I just finished creating this "blog", and let me tell you, if I weren't a christian woman! : ) So as of now, as preparations for the trip are underway: plane tickets have been purchased, passports in the mail, immunizations yet to be administered; we "patiently" wait. Departure is set for October 2nd. Every morning I catch myself looking at the calendar, at the current day, and then skimming down to 10/2. At this point the excitement is difficult to contain. Koone and I find ourselves talking about it in all our conversations, but he says he doesn't want to get too emotionally caught up in it, afraid the results might disappoint. (We are secretly hopeful that the Lord wants us in Uganda.) But me... I'm completely emotional! My heart is full of joy! Thank you God for this amazing opportunity to serve you!!!
